Meet the Press, this morning:

Addressing a Congressional panel, former Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz claimed that Iraqi oil revenues would help pay for reconstruction of the country. Sunday, Karl Rove denied the Bush administration ever made that claim.

“[T]he suggestion that somehow or another the administration had as its policy, ‘We’re going to go in to Iraq and take their resources and pay for the war’ is not accurate,” Rove told NBC’s Tom Brokaw.

Why aren't these people facing criminal charges? Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld, to name but three of the primary miscreants, should be facing war crimes tribunals. If Obama was really a smart man he'd have pursued the path of justice for these creeps; instead they and their cohorts have spent their energies on attacking him as a show of appreciation. This is definitely a bizarre time in our history.

I was pleased that all through this NBC interview Rove was not at his best...I got the feeling like there was a big "ppffft" being spoken in the background of a collective consciousness (sorry, hard to explain...:)

Facts are not needed in Rove and the Bushies rewriting of history, somehow we are supposed to forget the facts and follow them blindly.
