The Washington D.C. city council Tuesday passed the first of two votes needed to legalize same-sex marriage in the nation’s capitol.
In a couple of weeks, the second vote will take place.
Two adults who love each other should be able to get married. Discrimination is wrong. It’s that simple. Honest.
